Epcot Update - Flowers, Gardens, and Smiles (PART 1)

PART 1 | 2 | 3

Epcot has always been our personal favorite, and now it even nicer, with all the flowers and landscaping that has been added in occasion of the 18th Flower & Garden Festival. Of course, Epcot is also receiving some minor, new additions throughout the entire park, like a new, temporary music theater, a completely revamped shop in the Chinese Pavilion, a new game involving "CARS" around World Showcase and more!

Let's see all these new things, and more, in this new (and very long!) Epcot update! Enjoy:

The new entrance was not being tested when we were visiting, but it's still here:

A look at some topiaries, while we're here:

Lotso's topiary:

One of the "Leave-a-Legacy" stones was broken. Again??:

It's not the same one, though:

They completely removed part of the side of the stone (If they would actually remove these things altogether, it would be much, much better):

Pixar's famous ball:

Mickey and Friends:

- THE FOUNTAIN OF NATIONS -

The Fountain of Nations was closed, either for a temporary refurbishment, or for the fairly high winds:

Another look at the are, now Whirlygigs-free:

It looks like they're working on new things to put on the now-empty windows of Mouse Gear:

No news on the House of Tomorrow:

Still to be changed:

INNOVENTIONS West is in need of a major rehab!:

There are already two enormous, empty spaces!:

ImAgInAtIoN!:

- IMAGEWORKS -

Can you see the new Vinylmation figures in the cabinets?:

Not-so-nice-looking-pavilion:

This area is still closed. The only thing that has remained is a photo of Rambo holding Typhoon Lagoon's boat:

Still walled-off:

- DISNEY PERFORMING ARTS ON STAGE: THE NEW MELODY GARDENS -

A new, temporary area has been set up, for the Performing arts:

It is called "Melody Gardens":

Benches aside, the area looks really nice:

The stage:

Some great flower composition around the park:

Wonderful:

- MEET DISNEY FAIRIES FROM PIXIE HOLLOW (MEET-AND-GREET) -

The meet-and-greet was closed at about five o'clock:

A look around the area:

Please, continue to read this update by heading to PART 2, where you'll find tons of other pictures from the park, including a new sand sculpture, the new, temporary CARS game around World Showcase and more!
