Universal Studios Update: Waterfront Open (PART 1)

It's another great morning here in Central Florida! To start the day in the best way possible (for theme park fans, that is), let's take a look at our latest Universal Studios Florida photo-report:

Let's start with some wait times:

It was a quiet day:

Very, very quiet:

The ads on the side of Shrek's show building are back:

Temporary midway games near the Hollywood Bowl Theater:

The Monsters Cafe' is now heavily featuring Nathan's Hot Dogs:

As we said, it was a very nice day:

As you definitely know, yesterday we took a great behind-the-scenes look at the Transformers - The Ride construction area (CLICK HERE to view our photo-gallery):

Along the waterfront, we noticed even more new laser projectors:

Minor work along the Hollywood waterfront:

Going toward the former Amity Harbor:

That building is becoming incredibly big:

Oh, and the new waterfront area is now open to the public (without theming details, of course):

Looking good:

From the other side:

New tables have been installed near Lombard's Seafood Grille:

Panoramic photo (FULL-SIZE):

Let's go trough the new pathway along the lagoon:

New themed lampposts are rumored to be installed on the columns in the future, but why didn't they leave a hole to insert the wires and everything else?:

More photos of the area:

Wacky Tourists:

The construction site was very active:

The former Amity bathrooms may be staying:

Work was done on the side shingles a few days ago. Of course, this may only be routine maintenace:
