  1. Its sad to see this all go and know that Harry Potter will take it over. I'm sorry but i am not a fan and not returning to this park either, a lot of people i know are sad to see a classic go and i think its fair to favor just Harry Potter Fans to Universal Studios. If you think of it this side has no sides compared to Islands of Adventures!

  2. I agree i hate Harry Potter they need more rides at Universal. And Hollywood Rip Rocket does not look like a ride that fits into Universal. More like Six Flags. Universal comes out with some many movies and they give us this. Come on do better!

  3. In my Opinion Universal should do more classic movies they come out with, so yes i agree with Rob on that. I also Agree Universal needs to better than just Harry Potter and Hollywood Rip Rocket, wheres E.T. or King Kong? We need those rides.

  4. I like Harry Potter books and movies but I don't like the idea of having another land for it. If they want to build more Harry Potter, it needs to be around the already existing Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure.

  5. I forgot how much rubbish there was on the way to Jaws! So many rubbish games/shops that were good for theming but really quite bad themselves. Although some disagree that Potter should go there (not confirmed anyway yet) it would bring in so much money for them that classic themes wouldn't. That's fact really and it is a business with a majority, I would think, wanting more Potter.

  6. I know its business but when Harry Potter dies down no one will want to go there and they need to spend more money to refurbish it. Harry Potter is not a Classic and won't be the hype in 10 years

  7. Harry Potter has truly made a huge impact... So I guess it's fair that it is tributed with a land at Universal. However, I hope that it stays in IoA. There is no need for it to head over here to Universal Studios. What I would REALLY like to see is a tribute to what Universal is really known for: The classic horror movies. They need to do something like that. I still think it's a shame the Psycho House was removed in the 90's...

  8. Whether or not Harry Potter is a classic, and I do think it will live for decades, is beside the point. Universal has made thousands of movies over the past 100 years, many of them all-time classics, and they're ripping out a land based on one of their classics for a movie franchise that came out of Warner Bros.

  9. I most definitely won't miss the Midway games. I don't like them in Disney's California Adventure either. Too cheesy.

  10. many posters here seem convinced that another Harry Potter themed attraction is a nailed on cert for Universal Studios yet no announcement has been made and personally I think it would be a very poor piece of marketing for Universal.
Like it or not, the Hogsmeade village revived interest in IoA, and greatly improved attendances. create 2 harry potter worlds, and make guests have to choose, and attendances in IoA are bound to drop.
Universal are (probably) sensible enough to leave IoA as the place for potter fans (judging by attendances, there are plenty) and create something different in Universal Studios to appeal to a different group of fans (Transformers?)
