Universal Studios to Create an Amazing Water Show

Universal Studios Florida has had an highly disappointing nighttime show in the past few years. The "Universal 360" show was extremely boring, uninteresting, and was considered mostly an overview of some of Universal's movies, which were presented on round screens, with a few pyrotechnics here and there.

This is going to change soon. And the change is going to be absolutely fantastic. Indeed, Screamscape just reported that the newly renovated barges have just been "loaded with stage lighting truss," and as we reported in our most recent Universal Studios update, "lots of new buoy markers are floating out in the water." It is great to hear that the Aquatique Show Intl. company is currently working with Universal to create a fantastic, new water show! Why are we so excited? Take a look at this video, showing just some of the things the Aquatique Show Intl. has done:

When we saw this video for the first time, we remained with our mouth literally open. If something like this ever opens at Universal Studios Florida, I will personally always (and I mean, always) remain to see this nighttime show when visiting the park. There are no words to describe the potential this can have. There's fire, water, colors, pyrotechnic effects, images, and even people (but we don't know if live actors will interact with the water). This sounds like it could become as great as World of Color at Disney California Adventure, if not even better! It will surely become one of the best nighttime shows in Central Florida.

What do you think? Aren't you excited to know that Aquatique Show Intl. is involved in this project? Share your thoughts!

  2. Oh wow! I really hope they design something amazing for UO! A combination of all the different effects shown in the Youtube video would be the best & most impressive idea IMHO. Hopefully it'll be stunning, suppose we'll just have to wait & see! :)

  4. Hell yeahh! :) after the succes of IOA because of the harry potter theme, they want to create a similar effect in the studios. maybe a harry potter phase 2, a water night show, despicable me, ... i would not be suprised if they have something else in there sleeves. i suspect that the jaws ride and the area around will have to make place for 2 incredible innovating rides ... You go Universal
