Triceratops Encounter to return!

Yes, you read it right! The long-missed attraction-experience "Triceratops Encounter" is returning!
And that's a great news that we are sure will happen for many reasons that we'll explain later on, in the rest of this update. If you're coming to Orlando before at least January/February 2011, don't hold your breath though, as it looks like it will take a bit longer to fix all the areas and to clean the paths. Most of the works are being done on the entrance area of the attraction as of now, but much more needs to be done.

But, here you are some pictures that are self-explanatory:

The Triceratops in front of the entrance is currently being repainted:

It will look better than ever!:

This sign will go down soon (hopefully!):

New lamps are being installed all along the pathways (how do I know? You can see some of them through the trees and bushes, if you pay attention!):

The entrance sign need to be cleaned:

The wait time sign has been here for a while now:

See? There's still a lot of work that needs to be done, but it can't take more than 3 or 4 months!:

The exit sign:

AND,  AN EXCLUSIVE OF OTPN! WE SPOTTED THE ACTUAL SKIN OF THE TRICERATOPS!:

They may be renewing the entire skin of the dinosaurs:

New lights, and old skin:

Another new light:

More works:

So, welcome back, Triceratops Encounter!!!
And, a new IOA update is coming right up next!

  1. Hope this is true, its such an amazing experience,Ive seen young children crying because they had to leave thinking they were real.
The sign does not say Encounter so I hope its the original experience and not something else

  2. Be aware that the sign IS NOT new, it has to be replaced, so it may say again "Triceratops Encounter"! I really hope it will be as good (if not even better than) as before!!!

  3. I think that sign is just bolted over the original atraction sign. I would bet it's still under that and all they will do is one day unbolt the cover and clean it up and it's ready to go.

  4. The skeleton gets painted every few months since nobody can read the sign that says do not climb and it wears off the colors. All the random junk in the pictures has been there for months if not years. If it comes back that would be great, but I wouldn't get my hopes up...
