Magic Kingdom Update: Pirates Additions (PART 2)

Welcome to Part 2 of this general Magic Kingdom update (PART 1 can be found by CLICKING HERE).

We will now continue to take a look around the Pirates of the Caribbean queue where more new themed elements have been added (this queue is actually getting better and better):

A look from the other side of the merging area:

Inside the ride itself, a new skull rock formation has been added (sorry for the fact that it is not clearly visible, but we refused to use the flash in the attraction since there were Guests around us):

You can see an "eye" in this photo:

This might be something new:

The back of the ship in the battling scene now has lights on. We never noticed these before:

Nothing new here...

But this guy (who likes to sleep with swines) had a problem with his head:

It was definitely not working correctly. His head should be in an upright position:

Let's move on to Frontierland, where work on the former Crow's Nest store continues (very little progress has been done back there, it seems):

A look behind the walls:

The Golden Oak Outpost is currently closed:

Bears still in hibernation:

Big tarp still up in Liberty Square:

Inside the Columbia Harbor House, we noticed that these trash cans looked really, really new. They were either recently replaced, or the Cast members cleaning the area were (and still are!) incredibly meticulous!:

The Mansion's queue has been drastically changed. It now offers a gigantic single queue for the stand-by line:

The other side is for - obviously - Next-Gen FASTPASS:

Here's the magic pole:

Tomorrowland:

The building housing the Monsters INC. Laugh Floor seem to have received a nice new paint job:

Outside the park, work continues on the new bus booths:

This is all, folks! Thank you as always for reading, and don't forget to post comments!

  1. It's a real shame you have to put your name on every picture. Is it possible to make your font a little less out there? It is very distracting when looking at the pictures.

  2. Watermarks are pretty standard with proprietary photos.

I'm extremely detail-oriented and I didn't even notice the site's name on the photos until you mentioned it.

  3. Ironic that these watermarks are the result of another site stealing images; yet this site steals content from TWDC Internal site all the time.

  4. Pretty Sure This Website never takes anyone else's pictures, Or if they do want to share other pictures with us they always give credit to that website!

  5. @2nd Anonymous: We are very tired of hearing that. We NEVER steal any information from ANY website. Also, we ALWAYS put the copyright information after posting something from the Internal TWDC website. In addition to that, ALL the info we take from there is specifically to be shared with guests. That should be clear to all. It is the last time we are going to say that, as we are very sad of being told that we post information that should not be released to the public.

  6. I think a watermark should be that, a watered down version on a photo. I like the non star wars one better because it isn't to bright and to obstructive but I guess other sides could cut them off.
It's a shame that your regular fans are punished because other sites are stealing your foto's. I always try to remember to klick on the adds to generate some extra income for you (please let them open in a new tab). And I will return every day because of the awesome work you all are doing.

  7. I also did not notice the watermark until it was mentioned--and to those bothered by that, be thankful that it's not one of these watermark's that is gigantic and across the entire picture!

OTPN Admin: Don't pay any attention to the negativity out there--your website is the best and contains the most beautiful and *original* pics. Your true fans know this! And as always, THANK YOU for making my family's time in between our trips "home" to Orlando a little more tolerable.
:-) And please keep your wonderful updates coming!!!

  9. Worrying about the watermarks and not getting enjoyment from the pics? That's so ridiculous. Nice pics.
