Hollywood Studios Update: Pirates Coming (PART 2)

Welcome to part 2 of this new Disney's Hollywood Studios photo-update (PART 1 can be found here).

Continuing our tour of the Magic of Disney Animation facility, we had a nice "surprise" awaiting us: The Animation Gallery has finally received a new themed exhibit! We will soon post a full virtual walk-though:

In the meantime, let's take a look around some of the beautiful paintings for sale in the store:

The following paintings are some of the newer ones (and some of our favorites too!):

These are actually not new, but they're absolutely incredible:

After a while, it started to rain:

...a lot:

But it was very warm, so no big deal:

A panoramic photo of the Animation Courtyard under the rain (FULL-SIZE):

Poor Cast Member... That doesn't look like a very "magical" position:

One Man's Dream:

The facade of the future Pirates of the Caribbean themed walk-through attraction continues to change:

The New Fantasyland model is still very interesting (CLICK HERE for detailed photos of the model):

This was the look of the theater a few days ago (now they may be done with the drawing on the walls):

Finally a reference to our beautiful Sunshine State!:

Nothing new to report from the former outdoor queue area:

Let's now shift our attention toward Pixar Place:

Toy Story Mania! had just reopened after having had some technical difficulties, so it was a walk-on:

This was definitely one of the highlights of our day:

Mr. Potato Head is a great entertainer:

Take a look at some of his facial expressions:

He can also remove his right ear! In most instances, he's also able to put it back...

A look around the loading/unloading area:

Near the Studio Tour, we always have to face this:

... and in the restrooms, we have to deal with this:

Yep, Disney treat us exactly like tourists.
