Universal Studios Update: SS44, Amity & More - Part 1
Hello, and welcome, welcome, welcome to a new Universal Studios Florida update, courtesy of the Orlando Theme Park News Team. We have a lot of great photos to share with you, so let's start by checking out Universal's newest attraction: Despicable Me - Minions Mayhem:
This is definitely a great attraction. We will post photos of the queue very soon.
The minions are great:
Moving over to the construction of Transform... ehm, to the area that will soon house a new attraction:
It may seem strange, but we had no problem whatsoever taking photos of the construction area:
This crane can be virtually seen from anywhere in the park:
But wait! We do have a confirmation that Transformers is coming to Universal Studios Florida! Here's what we found in the Kidzone area of the park:
That looks like a Transformers robot ready to transform, right? Oh, well. I haven't seen the movies, so I am not sure. Still:
Okay, that was silly. Sorry. Moving on...
A fairly large area of the New York area of the park is roped-off:
The lagoon:
We just noticed that the towers on the barges used for the new nighttime show are manually raised!:
And the do this every night (just like they take out the barges for Illuminations at Epcot each afternoon):
A quick visit to Disaster Studios (still one of our favorite attractions):
