Universal's CityWalk: Boardwalk Construction Update

As we reported on our last Universal's CityWalk update, this entertainment district is receiving dome pretty major work, which will definitely improve the look and feel of the area. Among the additions there will be a couple of new boardwalk areas, rumored new shops, restaurants, and more. And that doesn't even include the other additions that the area recently received (new LED lights in the AMC Theaters area, the new Mini-Golf course, the refurbishment of the Hard Rock Cafe' facade, etc...).

But, let's take a look at how work is proceeding in the area. Enjoy:

Work being done on the right side of CityWalk (it will be one section of the new boardwalk):

And here's the left section:

They still have to start working in this section:

We may soon see more of these new booths in the near future, who knows:

A general look at the area:

And that is all, for now.

As you can see, Universal's CityWalk is receiving some tender loving care, and we are definitely happy about that, as the area certainly needs some work (it is not in bad shape like Pleasure Island, but there are still some things to do around the place. We will continue to keep you up-to-date. Thanks for reading!

  1. I think that both Downtown Disney and Universal City Walk in California are much nicer after being there just 3 weeks ago...
