Enchanted Grove Becomes The Cheshire Cafe' - Photos

Many changes are coming soon to the Magic Kingdom. We're currently looking forward to the opening of the new Fantasyland expansion, as well as the debut of a new interactive game. Of course, there are also other minor changes that are being applied in some areas of the park. One of those is the complete renovation of the "Enchanted Grove," a very nice snack point located just next to the Mad Tea Party attraction.

Indeed, Imagineers have completely changed the theme of the building. From a generic "fantasy" theme, they've now transformed it into the place where the Cheshire cat hangs out. This change is very appropriate, as the Cheshire cat, as you certainly know, is one of the most important characters of Walt Disney's "Alice in Wonderland" movie. Now, the theming of the area as a whole is much more cohesive.

Let's take a look at some pictures of the renovated building:

The exterior looks brand-new:

The location is still sponsored by Minute Maid:

All the shingles on the roof have been replaced, and have now a more "natural" look:

A look at the front of the building:

The menu itself has not changed much. Some items are a bit more expansive, others (like the SmartWater) now cost a bit less:

As we reported some time ago, the restroom sign was already foreshadowing the new theme:

The entire area has now become a small Wonderland:

Overall, we are very pleased with this change. For now, this is all. Thank you very much for viewing.

  1. I love that they went to trouble to retheme it, I just wish there were more themed elements, both visually and in the menu options
