SeaWorld Update - Manatees Project and More (Part 1)

This week's SeaWorld update will be quite special, as we have some pictures of the now-closed Manatee Rescue area (which has some artworks and writings on the walls that look very, very promising), as well pictures from the park in general, including photos of Blue Horizons and One Ocean. Let's start right away:

Going toward the entrance:

This structure has been here for a while, near the parking area of the park, but we never noticed it before:

We really need to come to the park more often:

And we are inside the park:

Mandatory Manta photos:

It looks like they have added a new building in the Key West area of the park:

It sells temporary tattoos:

Some beautiful dolphins swimming in the cove, in the Key West area:

Now, it is time to go to the area which could be hiding something really, really interesting:

The entire area previously occupied by the Manatee rescue has been walled-off:

The walls go as far as the Gardens of Discovery:

The writings on the walls are very promising, as we said at the beginning of the update:

This really sounds like the description of a dark ride to me!:

Unfortunately, we are aware that this is not going to happen (at least, not in this area). Many reliable rumors say that this will become a Florida-themed exhibits, that will include more animals that typically reside in Florida, along with a 3D theater, where they will show their new movie, Turtle: The Incredible Journey:

They are completely renovating the extremely old structure. It really needed some love:

This area is much bigger than you think:

The sign is still there:

It looks like they had a sign here, meaning that these walls were also used for another project:

Many of the signs of the Manatee Rescue are still on place:, but not for long:

By the way, don't worry: the alligator habitat is still there:

More pictures around the area:

The main building (that should house the new 3D theater) is receiving a lot of attention:

You can still see the Manatee Rescue logo under the tarps:

The nice Manatee topiary is still near the attraction:

Every reference to the Manatee attraction is gone:

As you can see, the name has been covered:

Want to see more pictures? Then head to PART 2 of this update!

  1. NOOOOOOOOOO......... I love Manatee.... Let me understand: the moved all the manatee in another section of the park, maybe in a reserved section without exhibit?
I want to know if they still perform the Manatee Rescue Program even if they have close this section!
And last but not least... do you know if the will show them again???? Maybe when the Revitalize the Park section????
