IOA Update - Mythos Rehab Complete (PART 1)

A good news from Islands of Adventure: the short rehab of Mythos' exterior is now done, but there are still other minor refurbishments being done around the park, so let's take a look together:

Let's start with a look at the wait times around the park:

Green Eggs and Ham is only open for lunch:

Work continues on the water area of the "If I Ran the Zoo" play area:

As you can see, new walls have gone up:

Behind the walls:

You will remember that Mythos has received a minor refurbishment, as seen in our previous IOA update:

Well, as you can see, it is done:

...but, apparently nothing has changed:

The fountain was completely drained, though, so they have surely worked on the "unseen" sections of the facade, such as plumbing:

The mold is still there, but it's not as bad:

The wait times seen at the beginning of the update went down extremely quickly, as you can see:

The Jeep near the Spinosaurus is finally back:

Triceratops Discovery trail should be open today, July 4, 2011. On our visit - July 3 - it wasn't, unfortunately:

It looks like they will not use the whole original queue neither his time:

The new path seems very small:

  2. You produce the best Orlando updates in my opinion; absolutely superb. Hinting to the comment above me I don't understand what your deal is. It takes a certain type of person to harass someone for putting out such great content at NO COST to you at all.

  6. Quickly becoming one of my go to sites every day. Your work is excellent and it helps people like me who don't get there every week to see what is going on. Been around since the beginning of this site and it continues to improve every time i see it.
