A surprisingly crowded Magic Kingdom - PART 1

Good Morning, and welcome to a new Magic kingdom update!
Today, it will surprise you to see all the crowds that have invaded the park. We know that Presidents day is coming soon, but... it's February, and it's this crowded? You'll see.

I really like this "Let the Memories Begin!" banner. It' really elegant, and at night, it's great to see all the special light effects, that cover with pixie dust the words!!:

These flowers are beautiful:

New pavement on the right-hand side of the entrance (when coming in):

< NEW                                                                                                  OLD >

New pavement also under the train station walkway:

It's anti-slippery, and pretty rough:

The Exposition hall is still on-the-works (we took a glimpse inside, and they're still painting...":

Refurbished chandelier (?):

More open space now reveals... NEW CARPET!:

Very, very nice, and very luxurious!:

Nice:

Work on the Confectionery:

Snow White... in Main Street U.S.A.??? Walt decided to build underground tunnels just to avoid these things!

More work:

Crowded!:

No more Goofy's Barnstormer:

Before:

But this map still needs to change:

Great sight, as always:

Work on Adventureland's bridge:

Attempted over-the-wall picture:

The new Disney Storybook Princesses meet-and-greet at the Adventureland Veranda:

It was so crowded that thy had to expand the hours of the park until 9, add a Main Street Electrical parade show and... open the extended queue for the Robinsons' Treehouse!:

The newly-refurbished stroller parking is now open:

The Tiki Room is closed:

As we reported yesterday, one of the birds is missing:

Painting in progress near the Pirates of the Caribbean plaza:

Tortuga tavern was of course, open:

They even opened another area that was rarely used:

It goes directly to Pecos Bill:

  1. Thanks for the updates!
When we were there a month ago Snow White met with my daughters in the righthand corner (near where your pictures of her were taken), to the right of the confectionery. Since it was right after the Welcome show it didn't seem odd to us that the Snow White who had just debarked the train and welcomed us to MK would also come to greet us on Main Street. I don't know that she stayed there all day.
