Brand-new booths are coming to Magic Kingdom's parking.

Here you are the pictures, taken just yesterday:

  1. Samu, talking about the parking lot, I'm wondering one thing: every day you enter in a Disney's parking lot we spend 12 dollar (I don't go wrong) which give you a full access to all disney's parking lot for that day!
Do you know if there's a workaround to try to spend less??? maybe a 1-3-5-7 days prepaid ticket?

  2. Unfortunately Bigfoots, now it's $14!
But if you don't want to pay every single day the parking, you could go to visit Down Town Disney very early in the morning, then take the bus to a resort and then to the theme parks... But unfortunately that takes at least 30 minutes... And there's no multiple-days parking ticket for the parking... It's too expansive to pay every time, isn't it? Luckily, I have an AP....

  3. 14$???? We have a 7 days ticket multiplied for 14$ it cost 98$... like to buy another 2 day ticket!!!
They are crazy!!! But this is the price to visit the magical Disney World!!!
I can't understand why they don't offer a multi day parking ticket form much less money, like they do with the ticket!!!

  4. That's something I've never thought about!! You're so right!! They should do something, because if somebody has bought some multi-day tickets and then has to pay parking every time... that's crazy!!
But, remember to check if your hotel provides a free shuttle to Disney!!
The 80% of the hotels and motels have shuttles, so your hotel may have it too!

  5. Shuttles are a lifesaver. Last year, we took shuttles for four days to Disney, twice to Universal, and then parked at Downtown Disney and resort- and park-hopped on the last day. Even if it's a few bucks extra, it makes up for it versus the cost of parking.

  6. If you stay on property at a Disney hotel you get a free parking pass (parking plus one hour early entry plus on-property transportation are perks that partially compensate for the higher cost of staying with Disney). They could instead roll the cost into the price of tickets, but that would penalize the people who choose to use the on-property transportation system. So the way it is is perhaps the most fair way to do it.

  7. Staying at a Disney hotel saves the parking fee, and the buses aren't too slow if you time it right. It really is a decent bus system that can take you anywhere. Plus the drivers wear purple pants!

Parking at Downtown Disney would work, but that would take even longer. They used to have direct park buses from there, but stopped that when it was abused (I did it a few times!).

But when staying offsite, I've never taken the private hotel's bus because it is never departing/returning at convenient times. It seems like it'll leave the park at 7pm, even though the park is open til 9. I want to maximize my hours at the park, so we end up paying Disney for parking. It's not cheap, but the alternatives are few and less convenient.
