Imagination pavilion update

The Imagination Pavilion is receiving some changes in these days...
As we reported early this week, the park map does not feature Kodak as the sponsor of the pavilion anymore, and some works are being done at the ImageWorks secion of the pavilion, that has been almost completely walled off. Here you are some pictures:

Unfortunately, all the signs in the park still say that the Imagination pavilion is sponsored by Kodak (but they also say that "The Land" pavilion is still sponsored by Nestle', which is not right):

More Kodak:

Inside, most of the exhibits have been walled off:

Only the "stepping stones" and "Figment's melody maker" are still open:

... but some of them don't even work!:

More walls evrywhere:

The windows that overlook the queue have been covered:

I don't remember this area being so open:

Now you can clearly see the machinery. a sort of behind-the-scenes:

If only they could go back to the second floor with ImageWorks, and leave the whole first floor for the "Journey Into imagination" ride!:

Let's hope that someone will announce something soon.... The Imagination Pavilion DESPERATELY needs a rehab, and if Kodak is out of the way, and a new (good and generous) sponsor comes in, we may finally see Journey Into imagination in its full glory once again!

  1. Ooooh, I hope they bring the Dreamfinder back! I love Figment, but we didn't even go on this when we were there last week. Getting "skunked" by Figment is not my idea of a good time, which is precisely why I avoid Stitch in MK (and I love Stitch!).

  2. I don't really remember the original Journey into Imagination cause I was only seven when it closed XD I'm the only person who was young in my family who remembers (and HATES) the first rehab without Figment. I'm glad they added him back. I saw a tribute video recently on Martin's Videos site and it made me mad. I had NO idea how much they'd changed it. Now I do and it makes me mad they were THAT stupid. I usually think Disney Imagineering is AWESOME but this is a tragedy! I'm glad Figment's back but seriously, the next step better be restoring the ride (cause nothing's been as well recieved as that one...which is something I learned from that video XD) and putting Dreamfinder back in, I mean REALLY back in not in some tribute (aka Dean Finder -_-)

  3. I totally agree with you, Katie! I want back Dream Finder, not these strange subtle tributes! The old ride was thousands of times better than the current, poor version!
    Let's hope!
